Richmond L. St. John, Jr.

Richmond Leland “Buck” St. John, Jr., 78, of Blackstone, Va. joined his family in Heaven on November 29, 2023. He was the son of the late Richmond Leland St. John, Sr. and Ella Goodwin St. John and father of the late Cindy Moore. He is survived by his children, Angela Hancock (Dean Queensberry) of Victoria; Dennis St. John of Blackstone, Ryan Tompkins of North Carolina and Scott Tompkins of Amelia; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Blalock of Blackstone, Edwina Walker (Daniel) of Kenbridge; brother, Roger St. John (Wilma) of Chesterfield; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and his beloved dog, Lassie. Buck was a retired brick layer and loved the Cincinnati Bengals and the Baltimore Orioles. He will always be remembered for his quick wit and for his love of life. The family will receive friends Sunday December 3, 2023 from 6:30 to 8PM at Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, December 4, 2023 at 2PM at the Lakeview Cemetery in Blackstone.
