Richard Winston “Ricky” “Bear” Daniel, Jr., 71, of Victoria, VA went to be with the Lord on May 16. 2024. He was the son of the late Richard W. Daniel, Sr. and Minnie Nelson Daniel. He is survived by his daughter, Reginia Daniel of Blackstone; his son, Derek Daniel of Victoria; grandson, Malik Glasgow of South Boston; great-grandson, Nova Glasgow and his sister, Rebecca Nowlin of Victoria. “Ricky” to some “Bear” to others, drove a fertilizer spreader for Southern States in Burkeville for numerous years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming. In lieu of flowers the family asked to please consider donations to Staples Funeral Home, P.O. Box 96, Victoria, Va. 23974 to help with cost.
