Pauline Adams Nelson

Pauline Adams Perkins Nelson, 92, of Kenbridge, VA passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on March 18, 2025. She was born on February 13, 1933, in Charlotte County, VA, to the late Thomas Patterson Adams and Martha Glass Adams. She was the youngest of 8 children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her 7 siblings, and her first husband, Stanley Perkins. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Dean Nelson; her loving children, Dennis Perkins, Jr. (Evette) of New York, Sandra White of Florida, Patricia Perkins Williamson of Blackstone, VA, Sharon Nelson Wolfenbarger (Stan) of South Hill, VA, and Bobby Jr. Nelson (Jackie) of Keysville, VA. She was a cherished grandmother, to be remembered fondly as “Granny” to Stanley Perkins (Joanna), Terry Evans (Angel), Kerry White (Haley), Heath Williamson (Brittany), Kayla Jones (Blake), Taryn Cameron (Michael), Lauren Cozart (Kevin), Michele Adams (Anthony), and Robin Adams (Ryan), and a beloved great-grandmother to 16 great-grandchildren. Pauline was a woman of gentle kindness, full of unwavering faith and love for her family. She will be remembered for the lives she touched, the love she shared, and the legacy she leaves behind. A service to celebrate her life will be held at Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge, VA on March 21, 2025 at 11:00am with a graveside service to follow at Kenbridge Heights Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at 10:00am until the start of services at 11. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kenbridge Rescue Squad, Kenbridge Fire Department, or a charity of your choice.
