Patricia Hughes Daniel

Patricia Hughes “Pat” Daniel, 69, of Boydton, VA and formerly of Kenbridge, VA went to be with the Lord on August 2024. She was the daughter of the late Jesse C. carter and Patsy Deane Scarce. She is survived by her daughters, Jamie D. Upton of Boydton and Kelly D. Elliott of Halifax; her grandchildren, Chase Upton, Taytum Upton, Kennedy Elliott and Madeline Elliott; her sister, Jessica Carter; brothers, Timothy Carter (Karen) and Jay Carter; dear friends, Claudia Daniel and Deborah Craven. Pat graduated from Central high School and earned her associate’s degree in childcare development from Southside Virginia Community College. Many parents entrusted their children to her care for nearly 40 years. She enjoyed reading, crime drama’s, 70’s TV shows, Long walks and spending time with family and friends. Graveside memorial services will be held 2PM Sunday, August 25, 2024 at the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery, Kenbridge, VA.
