Otis Henry "Hard Head" Newcomb

Otis Henry “Hard Head” Newcomb, 72, of Kenbridge, Va., surrounded by his loving family, went to be with the Lord on  October 3, 2020. He was the son of the late Otha L and Lina Bee M. Newcomb and brother of the late Gene Newcomb and OB Newcomb. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Nancy P. Newcomb; his daughters, Tammy Hite (Jeff) and Ruby Cottle (Ed); his son Brian Newcomb (Jessie Carlisle); grandchildren, Jonathan Hite (Samantha), Amber Hite (Kevin), TJ Lloyd, Jackie Lloyd, Kaitlyn Newcomb and Tucker Newcomb; step-grandsons, Zack Carlisle and Joshua Farmer; great-grandchildren, Makenzie, JJ, Shane and Shyanne; brothers, Gordon, Randall, Bill, Curtis and Raymond; sister, Janice Haley and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Otis will always be remembered for his kind smile and fun nature. He was a member of Light of Hope Baptist Church, Blackstone, Va. He loved the Lord, fishing, dancing, gardening and most of all being with family and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020 from 6 to 8 PM at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020 at 11AM.
