Myles was a family man who dearly loved his family, daughters and grandchildren. There is a poem which sums up family thoughts of Myles. We lost a father with a heart of gold. How much we miss him could never be told, he raised us with love and helped us along, if we follow his footsteps we'll never go wrong”. Myles lived in the Kempsville burough of Virginia Beach and put in a lot of work to plant a garden each year, decorate and win Yard of the Month and enjoyed installing Christmas outside decorations too. He was a very hard worker and was always creating a new way to do things. Myles was a menber of Surburban Christian Church. Myles will be missed by all who knew him, a wonderful man, father and loved grandfather. He was a man who would listen without judgement and help in any way he could. Please remember to hold your family close and spend as much time as you can with them. There is a cry for help in this country for new resources and structures to be created to help the senior citizen community. Please take the time to care, because time does matter. This sentiment holds true, I wish for one more day with you. We love Myles and will honor and celebrate his life on Sunday. This is a very special man we lost but can rest knowing he's in the arms of our Lord and Savior.
