Mildred Anne Dalton

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Mildred Anne Dalton, “Gran”, 77, of Kenbridge, VA, passed away on Sunday, November 17. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 54 years, Jackie Warren Dalton; parents Robert W. Daniel and Mildred J. Chaney; brother Robert W. “Robbie” Daniel, Jr. Mildred Anne was a loyal employee at Virginia Marble Manufacturers, Inc. and retired after 38 years. She was also a lifelong member of Oakland Christian Church, where she later served on the board. She was a faithful beach goer, loved a good book, and cherished spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters, Karen McGrath (Mike) and Kelly Gunn (Ryan); son, Jackie Warren Dalton, II (Lana); granddaughters, Morgan Partin (Joey), Gracie and Avery Gunn, Anna and Nora Dalton; grandsons, Jackie Warren Dalton, III “Jackson” and John (Nicole) and Tyler McGrath (Kaylee); great-granddaughter, Emerson Partin. She will also be missed by her many dear friends and extended family. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, November 24 at the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery.
