Marybeth Roberts Vaughan, 97, of Victoria, Va entered her eternal home on Nov. 18, 2024. Marybeth was born in Stokley, Del., May 9, 1927. As a little girl her playmate was a pet monkey named Jocko. She enjoyed sharing a picture of her with Jocko to everyone she met. She loved all animals. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth Roberts, her brother John, her grandparents, Mary and Wilbur Garcelon, her husband Edwin Vaughan and her grandson Eddie Lewis. She is survived by her daughters Pam Yoder (Chad), Charlotte Brockwell (Stewart), and Carolyn Lewis (Ray); four grandchildren, Tammy Joyce (Dan), Debbie Durham (Scott), Chris Brockwell (Cheryl) and Warren Brockwell (Kelly); 10 great grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Sarah C. Vaughan. She graduated from Victoria High School in 1945. She believed in Rawleigh products and sold them for many years not for the money as much as for her desire to help others. She was a member VFW Auxiliary Post 9954, the Golden Age Club, and the Victoria Christian Church, where the family will receive friends Satrurday, November 23, from 10AM until start of services at 11AM.
