Mary Louise Link Weaver

Mary Louise Link Weaver, 92, of Victoria, VA went to be with the Lord on November 19, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Annie Link; wife of the late Herman E. Weaver; mother of the late Betty K. Thurston and Francis K. “Nita” Field; grandmother of the late Billy Thurston and sister of the late Roland “RL” Link and Johnnie Link. She is survived by her daughter Donna K. Ferguson of Florida; her sons, Calvin Knight of Chase City and Mike Weaver of Victoria; her grandsons, Chuck Ferguson and Chris Ferguson; great-granddaughter, Melanie Thurston; great-great grandson, Rowen Ford; her sisters, Jackie Crawley, Lula Mae Bishop, Rachel Weaver, Ruby Martin and Patsy Scott. Louise enjoyed music, flowers, gardening and reading and studying her bible. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and her loving nature. She loved her church, Thrift’s Chapel United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the Staples Funeral Home Friday November 24, 2023 from 1PM until start of services at 2PM.
