Linda Tharpe Verser

Linda Tharpe Verser, 61, of Victoria went to be with the Lord and her family in Heaven on Christmas day 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Euggie Randolph Tharpe and Sallie Ashworth Tharpe; her husband, Harmon Verser and a brother, Durwood “Pete” Acors. She is survived by her children, Dustin Watson and Toni Whittaker (B-Bow); her grandchildren, Ocean, River and Bay Whittaker all of Victoria; her brother, John R. “Randy” Tharpe; step-children, Bubba Verser (Cylie), George Verser and Britini Hollifield (Morgan); extended family and many friends. Linda graduated from Central High School. She was a devoted employee of Jones Apparel in South Hill. 
Her strong work ethic made it possible to provide for the needs of her family. She enjoyed going to the beach and hanging out with family and friends. She dearly loved her family especially her grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 1pm Saturday, January 13, 2024 in the Victoria Christian Church.
