Judy Harris Parrish

Judy Marie Harris Parrish, 66, of Blackstone, Va. went to be with the Lord and her family in Heaven on July 13, 2023, she was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd L. “PeeWee” Harris and Elizabeth Hodge Harris; her husband, Dale Owen Parrish; a brother, Sammy Harris; a sister, Amy Webb; a niece, Ashley Richardson and great-nephew, Gavin Wright. She is survived by her sons, Chris Parrish and wife Shannon of Amelia and Brian Parrish and wife Delta of Blackstone; her daughter Beth Parrish (Mark Longest). She was Grandma to 6 grandchildren, Bobbie, Brandy (Dillon), Trent, George, Mollie and Harmony and 2 great-grandchildren, Aaron and Macy. Also surviving is her brother, Richard Anthony “Tony” Harris; her sisters, Joyce Harris, Donna Harris, Pamela Richardson and Kathy Crawley McCutcheon (Doug); step-father, Thomas E. Harris and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Judy was devoted to her trade as a drywall finisher. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzle books, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her all time favorite was playing games/slots on computer or going to a casino. She will always be remembered for her kind smile and big heart. Graveside services will be held 11am Monday, July 17, 2023 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Blackstone.
