John William Mills

John William “Buddy” Mills, Sr., 72, of Victoria, VA joined his family in Heaven on April 9, 2025. He was the son of the late James Roy Mills and Jackie Dean Eacho. He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Shirley Mills; his son John Mills, Jr. (Heather) of Dinwiddie; Stacie Wheeler (Jonathan) of Victoria; he was Papa to, Harper Mills, Madelyn Wheeler, Rhys Wheeler and one on the way; two sisters, Millie Loughridge (Hank) of Richmond and Tina Pritchett (David) of Goochland; a nephew, nieces, extended family and friends and devoted friend, Bill Baird of Richmond. Buddy grew up in Scott’s Addition / Richmond. He worked for many years at Custom Auto Tops. He enjoyed Nascar racing, fishing, old cars and a cold beer. He will always be remembered for the love he had for his family. The family will receive friends at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 2 to 5PM. A celebration of Buddy's life will held in Richmond at a later date.
