Jo Ann Gill Sprouse

Jo Ann Gill Sprouse, 78, of Henrico, Va. joined her family in Heaven on August 21, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Thomas Sprouse; her parents, William Hubert Gill and Elsie Poole Gill; and a brother, James William “Jimmy” Gill. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy M. Floyd (Kevin) of Chesterfield; her son, Jeff Quate of Glen Allen; one brother, H. Wayne Gill and his son Chris Gill both of Bailey, NC; and stepson, Robert Sprouse and his family of Goochland. Jo Ann graduated from Kenbridge High School in 1962. She was a hairdresser in the Richmond area for over 50 years. She loved her clients and was honored that they trusted her with their stories and their appearance. She dearly loved her family and a homegrown tomato sandwich. The family will receive friends at the Clarke Funeral Home, 110 E. Fifth Avenue, Kenbridge, Va. on Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 1 to 2PM.
