Herman Ray Seamster

Herman Ray Seamster, 69, of Lunenburg County, Virginia passed away on February 18, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Seamster and Lula Scott Seamster and brothers, Bobby Seamster and David Wayne Seamster. He is survived by his wife Sally Faye Seamster; his sons, Herman R. Seamster, Jr (Rebecca), Steven R. Seamster (Sharon) all of Lunenburg County, Daniel L. Seamster (Makala) of Georgia; 14 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; his brothers, James (Rita) of Brodnax, Howard of Boydton, Allen of Union Level and George of Clover; two sisters, Brenda Seamster of Roanoke and Becky Newcomb of Chase City; devoted friends Donna Anderson (Willard) and Robert Wilkinson (Pam) all of Kenbridge. Ray was a retired logger, mechanic and welder. He was always willing to help others. He enjoyed hunting and farming. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 1 to 4 at the Dundas Hunt Club, 10492 Long View Road, Kenbridge, VA 23944.
