Helen Louise Wilkinson Daniel

Helen Louise Wilkinson Daniel, 75, passed peacefully into heaven in the early hours of Friday, November 8, 2024. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Agnes and Tommy Reed Wilkinson, her sister Nancy Shell, her nephew Cephas Hawthorne, and many other cherished family members and friends. She was surely met at the pearly gates with a parade of loved ones. Helen is survived by sisters Agnes Reed Hawthorne, Edna Gibbs, and Harriett Cabiness, her husband and love of her life William E. (Cookie) Daniel Jr., children Bucky & Jackie Daniel, Julie & Jimmy Ray Dalton, Sarah Fenwick, Leah & Andy Wells, and Nick Daniel, grandchildren Will & Caitlin Daniel, Noah Daniel & Madison Finch, Luke & Hayley Daniel, Colin Dalton, MeriAgnes Dalton & Jake Back, Bodie & Jenny Fenwick, Jewel Fenwick, Harley Fenwick, Jay Franklin & Britani Redford, Miranda & Christopher Shy, Emily Franklin, Holden Wells, Riley Wells, and Caroline Wells, and great grandchildren Walker Daniel, Wyatt Daniel, Warren Fletcher Daniel, Callie Fenwick, Mila Franklin, Tatum Franklin, Jacob Shy, Salem Shy, and Jasper Shy. Helen is a lifelong member of Perseverance Christian Church where she served as a Deacon and later an Elder, was past president and active member of CWF, taught Sunday School, and helped found the Footprints Circle. She absolutely loved painting and creating. Her Santa and Father Christmas figures can be found around the world! Her house is filled with nativity scenes, broken seashells, and flowers of all kinds. Helen has always been known for her unfailing faith and her dedication as a wife, mother, and grandmother. There will be tears today but just know that they are tears of joy for a life well lived. Funeral service will be held at Perseverance Christian Church, 2703 Gigg Road, Kenbridge VA on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 3:00 pm with visitation to follow in the church fellowship hall.
