Evelyn Roark Marler

Evelyn Roark Marler, 85, of Lawrenceville, Va. joined her family in Heaven on October 10, 2023. She was the daughter of the late, Jessie Lincoln Roark and Myrtle Ray Roark; wife of the late, Carl E. Marler; mother of the late, Carolyn Wray Bush and sister of the late, Ruth Hancock and Carol Valora. She is survived by her children, Dexter Roark, Lewis McGinnis, James McGinnis, Patricia McGinnis and Tony McGinnis; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; her sisters, Louise Hancock, Nancy Smith (Milton) and Betty Roark; and her brothers, Earl Roark (Sue), Clarence Roark (Sue) and Thurman Roark. Evelyn grew up in a large loving family. She enjoyed singing, dancing and spending time with her family. She dearly loved the Lord. Memorial services will be held 6PM Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge.
