Eleanor Crump Cordle

 Eleanor Crump Cordle, 87, of Victoria, VA went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard M. Cordle, Jr; her parents, Allen F. Crump and Elva Goforth Crump and a brother, Ben Crump. She is survived by her sons, Richard A. Cordle of Chesterfield and R. Dale Cordle (Stephanie) of Victoria; 4 grandchildren; her sister, Shirley Morgan of Chase City and a brother, Bobby Crump (Pam) of Michigan. Eleanor grew up in Chase City, VA and graduated from Chase City High School. She was a devoted member of the Victoria Christian Church. She retired as a seamstress having worked for Craddock Terry Shoe Corporation and Aileen’s. She enjoyed shopping and dancing. Private graveside services will be held 2PM Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Victoria.
