Ann Williams Hawks

Ann Williams Hawks, 75, of Crewe, Virginia joined her family in Heaven on September 12, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin C. Hawks, Jr. and her parents, W.C. “Buster” Williams, Jr. and Patty O. Williams. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn H. Sheffield; and her granddaughter, Kristin Sheffield both of Crewe; her sisters, Carolyn W. Bagley (Ralph) of Pamplin and Dana W. McDaniel (Bobby) of Crewe; her brother, W.C. “Billy” Williams, III, MD (Jeannie) of Richmond; numerous nieces and nephews and her granddog Holly. Ann attended Victoria High School. She retired from Blackstone Primary School after many years of service as cafeteria manager. She enjoyed quilting and attending all of Kristin’s activities and ball games. The family will receive friends Friday, September 15, 2023 from 6:30 to 8PM at the Staples Funeral Home in Victoria. Ann was a devoted member of Crewe Baptist Church, 400 East Virginia Avenue, Crewe, Virginia 23930 where funeral services will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 11 AM. Interment to follow in the Crewe cemetery.
