Albert Franklin King

MSG, Albert Franklin King, 58, of Kenbridge, VA joined his family in Heaven on November 5, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Alein King; a sister, Betty K. Kirby; his brother Wayne King and a nephew, Ryan Clapper. He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Sue King; his daughter Madison King (William); a sister, Dottie Gregory (Mike); extended family and friends. Albert Graduated from Central High School in 1985. Soon after he joined the Virginia Army National Guard. During his 39yrs. of service, Albert was deployed 3 times to Iraq and Afganistan. He also was a recipient of the Bronze Star in 2013. He was currently a supervisor for MATES at FT. Barfoot in Blackstone. In his spare time Albert enjoyed golfing, watching sports, listening to music, playing his PS4 and spending time in his shop. He will be remembered for the love of his family and his dedication to his country. Memorial services with military honors will be held 2PM Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge.
